Pag-gamit ng makabagong teknolohiya sa pag-aaral ng asignaturang Filipino ng mga mag-aaral sa ika-sampung baitang ng Sulu National High School

Nilalayon ng pananaliksik na ito na tukuyin ang iba't ibang katangiang sosyo-demograpiko ng mga mag-aaral sa ikasampung baitang ng Sulu National High School, tulad ng kanilang kasarian, edad, at ang kanilang espesipikong kurso o larangan sa pag-aaral. Dagdag pa rito, hinahangad din nitong pag-aralan kung gaano nila kadalas o kalawak ang paggamit ng modernong teknolohiya sa kanilang pag-aaral sa asignaturang Filipino. Ginamit sa pag-aaral na ito ang disenyo ng deskriptibong kwantitatibong pamamaraan at isinagawa ang maingat na pagpili ng 100 kalahok—binubuo ng 50 babae at 50 lalaki—gamit ang purposive sampling upang matiyak ang pantay na representasyon ng bawat kasarian. Ang pangunahing instrumento na ginamit ay isang survey na sumasaklaw sa paggamit ng cellphone, laptop, tablet, at kompyuter. Batay sa resulta, karamihan sa mga respondente ay nasa edad 16 hanggang 17 taong gulang, mula sa mga seksyong A, B, at C, at ang kanilang mga magulang ay karaniwang may mababang buwanang kita. Lumabas sa pag-aaral na ito na ang mga mag-aaral ay mas nakahilig sa paggamit ng kanilang cellphone at kompyuter para sa kanilang pag-aaral at kakaunti lamang ang gumagamit ng tablet. Natukoy rin na walang estadistikong makabuluhang pagkakaiba sa paggamit ng teknolohiya batay sa kanilang demograpikong propayl, ngunit may mataas na kaugnayan ang mga sub-kategorya ng teknolohiya sa pag-aaral ng Filipino.
